Honey Chipotle Chicken

6-12 Chicken drumsticks or wings

FOR THE SAUCE:

4 Tbsp Butter, melted

2 Tbsp Hot sauce (Frank’s works great and has no sugar or additives, check your labels!)

2 Tbsp Honey

1 Tbsp White wine vinegar

1/4 tsp Chipotle powder

Preheat oven to 350. Mix all sauce ingredients together and pour 2/3 of the sauce mixture over raw chicken in an oven-safe dish. Bake for 15-20 minutes, basting every 5-7 minutes or so if you want, but it’s not necessary. Remove from oven, pour liquids from the dish into a sauce pan, and place the chicken back in the oven. Add the remaining 1/3 of the sauce mixture to the liquid on the stove top and bring to a simmering temp and allow to reduce and thicken. After baking chicken for an additional 5-10 minutes, remove and check temperature. If the internal temp is at 165, remove and dish up! Pour the thickened sauce over the top or toss, and enjoy!
